The shopping city of Landeck, only a few minutes away from Sonnenhang, offers a multitude of shops for a lovely little shopping trip. One highlight is the weekly Landecker Frischmarkt, a market that is held every Friday and delights visitors with regional specialties. Moreover, the area is home to many different cultural events, such as the well-known “Stanz brennt” or the “Horizonte” festival in Landeck.
This castle guards the old Roman road, Via Claudia Augusta, and sits impressively over the city of Landeck. Today, it tells the interesting history of the Tyrolean Uplands with its permanent exhibition “Bleiben oder Gehen”.
