The pool, actually the whole garden at Sonnenhang with its comfy lounge furniture, is a viewing platform for the mountain landscape, which catches the sun until late in the evening.

Almost 2000 years ago, the Romans build a trade road through the Alps, which is still partly visible to this day. Today, a popular long-distance cycling route follows its course. The Via Claudia Augusta runs along the banks of the Inn, not far away from Sonnenhang. You can set off from your apartment to cycle along the most picturesque sections of the course in the direction of Innsbruck or Reschensee/South Tyrol.
RESCHENSEE WITH ITS SUNKEN TOWER
A short drive away along the Reschenpas, you can find the impressive, 6-kilometre-long, turquoise lake, the Reschensee, along with the hallmark of Vinschgau, the sunken church tower. Scenic and perfect for romantic walks, bike rides, and mountain tours of any kind. On the way back, we recommend that you make a pit stop at the pizzerias Hans or Irene.
